Cool. A good series to fuse, one of my fav. book series.  You could have 
Cologne as Nightshade... ooo.. wait just remembered love scene between 
Nightshade and Ben... aakkk! mental picture of Cologne and...!!!
ugh! (shudder)
You could have Pansuoto as Strabo... and Kunou as that big human guy... 
ummm... can't remember his name... Kallendbor yeah that's him.
