I feel it important to note that there is a difference between yaoifics and
slashfics.
In the yaoific, the sex is hinted at, but never actually written. A very
good example of this is Monica's 'Forever Friends' part one. It has Ryu and
Ken (From Street Fighter II V) expressing love for one another, but never
culminating that love. In the slashfic, there is actual sex. I much prefer
yaoi to slash, because yaoi tends to be more romantic, although there are
some very romantic slashfics out there(Ranma no...Hentai??? is one).
BTW, I think that yaoi stands for 'No Climax, No Punchline, No Point'. If
you know for sure, let me know.
