Ah, but if you remember, Yukio's (sp?) grandmother mentioned that the
local demon hunter had not been able to train her sucessor before dieing
of some illness. Dosen't that sound like Akane's mother?

	Hmm, but Yoko's grandmother definately refered to the local demon hunger 
having Daughters (plural) so it's either the Tendo's, someone who hasn't been 
introduced yet, or the Kuno family tree is even larger than suspected (Brr, now 
that's a scary thought.)
