        Well from what I've been hearing I know Moebius did some of the designs
as did another french comic artist whose name I'm blanking on at the
moment......

Design was done by Moebius (Airtight garage, the Incal series, the
Blueberry series...) and M�zi�res (the Val�rian series). To me, Moebius'
design was more visible than M�zi�res', but I may have it wrong:
Moebius: the layered traffic, the cab, the city scenes
Mezieres: the metallic creatures, the little elephant-like pet, the
  metallic creature's ship, the reception hall in the palace (?)
