One complication with marrying into another line--there'll be *two*
transformation rings in the family.  Whose ring does the kid get?  Mom's or
Grandma Nodoka's?

If they are magical then wouldn't they be able to somehow combine and create
a more powerfull transformation ring?

   Dunno.  It depends on whether there's a provision for that, I guess.
Haruka and Yohko *did* combine the power of their two rings to travel back
to the future, but they didn't physically combine the rings into one.

And its not neccesarily a ring.  I
believe in the OAV (or whatever) that side kick has a braclet or something of
the sort.

   Yeah.  It's kind of a ring/bracelet thing.  I dunno what it would be
called, but it covers the whole back of the hand.  And Ayako uses a
bracelet.  I just used the term "ring" for convenience.
