Haven't seen the TV Ifurita, so I cannot comment there.

        She's a ditz on TV, pure and simple.  Hell, I heard she nearly
killed herself imitating Afura Mann's technique...

ah, she's not that bad!! I've seen the whole TV EH, and its almost as good
as the OAV series! TV Ifruita is very... different from the OAV Ifruita,
but not all that worse. and she's sssssssooooooooo Kawaii!!!!! TV Ifruita
rules, though she definately isn't as tragic a character as OAV Ifruita.
You really can't correlate the two, they're so different. The only things
they have in common is they both carry key staffs and they both have the
same name. after that, the simiulatities end. They don't even have the
same character design.
