	I don't think so, not at all. Ifurita is far more...umm, Shamps
lovers are going to kill me...far more intelligent. Wait, unless you're
talking about the TV Ifurita? Maybe then. But the OAV Ifurita is a truly
tragic figure.

Hey! Shmapoo _is_ a tragic figure! She's outcast, far from home, her one
true love doesn't return her love, and the only way she knows how to show
it is violence! She's been brought up with a set of cultural beliefs that
basically make her unable to function in society, yet she tries to do what
she thinks is right... really the parrell to Ifruita is quite staggering.
Ifruita knows only that she must kill, and that she has to obey her
master. Shampoo is suppose to kill Ranma, and has to obey her tribal
law/great-grandmother. (gosh, wouldn't cologne make a great Jinnai? ;) 

but, just like ifruita, in the end Shampoo can't kill Ranma and ends up
loving him. seems like a pretty good parrell to me. And Shampoo is not
stupid! she's portrayed as overly naive, but certainly not stupid.

        Plus, they both speak somewhat broken english in the dubbed versions!

        Oh, and by the way.  Is it just me, or does Miz REALLY sound like
Akane when she screams?  I mean, 
In comparison with the dubs, when Miz get's doused with cold water, she
screamed like Akane...
