Hey! Shmapoo _is_ a tragic figure! She's outcast, far from home, her one
true love doesn't return her love, and the only way she knows how to show

	But the way she's portrayed, the general tone, is not that of
tragedy. Remember, don't confuse fanfics with the real thing.... (I've
done that few times myself.)

ok, but there _are_ some parts in the anime at least where she does look
like a rather tragic character... I got this great pic (its a screen
capture) off of Wade's page that has her standing their looking so sad...
I mean, when she was first re-introduced, she definately had a tragic aire
to her.

it is violence! She's been brought up with a set of cultural beliefs that
basically make her unable to function in society, yet she tries to do what
she thinks is right... really the parrell to Ifruita is quite staggering.

	Ifurita knows what she does is not good for herself. Well, not
really, at first; she doesn't realize that she's feeling guilt, not until
Makoto unlocks her.

I could say the same about Shampoo, she just needs someone to show her the
right way.

Ifruita knows only that she must kill, and that she has to obey her
master. Shampoo is suppose to kill Ranma, and has to obey her tribal
law/great-grandmother. (gosh, wouldn't cologne make a great Jinnai? ;) 

	Cologne is far from megomaniacal....

hmm.... how about kodachi? ;)
