A cross-over between Bubblegum Crisis and Highlander
Interesting story. You were right about BGC and Highlander fitting together
well -- it worked a lot better than I thought it would. OF course, it
doesn't hurt that BGC has a built-in Immortal candidate in its original cast ^_^
The biggest problem I had with this fic was that everyone seemed to accept
what happened way too easily. I understand that the timeline was compressed
for the story, but still... Priss accepted didn't even question what had
happened, Sylia came off with an 'oh, ok, yeah, I know this, lemme call an
expert' attitude, and the others were amazingly accepting and question-free
("I'm immortal." "Cool, you'll be young forever!")
I'm also a bit light on my Highlander knowledge: what's to stop an Immortal
from claiming his home/office is on Holy Ground (to keep others from coming
after him), even if it isn't? Do Immortals just sort of 'know' what is and
isn't Holy Ground? In this story, everyone keeps taking everyone else's word
on the subject, even their enemies.
All in all, a nice job ^_^
