I looked up from the staff as Shayla-shayla and Nanami approached.

"You've been rather chipper these past few days Makoto-chan?"  Nanami
asked.

"Yes, I guess I have been."  I smiled.

"You've been seeing some girl haven't you?" Shayla-shayla demanded.

"No... and Yes, I have.  Fatora's made some half-hearted passes, just
for the novelty I guess.  But, the girl I've been sleeping with has been
in my dreams and here."  I held up the staff.

"The powerkey staff?"

"It's a part of Ifurita, wherever, whenever she is.  I finally found out
what she meant by her dreams of me.  When I sleep with the staff we share
our dreams.  This is our link back to Earth, and I will follow it."
