Ford Prefect would be Ukyou Kuonji, Arthur/Ranma's best friend who he
didn't know actually came from Kyoto, and not Guildford as he usually
claimed, and is in fact female.

Fenchurch would be Akane Tendo, Arthur/Ranma's true love, for whom some
people would disagree with me...

Which would mean that she gets lost forever due to a space travel 
accident - much sadder to you than to me, I'm sure...

But, as a consolation, is somewhere out there in the Whole Sort of General
Mish Mash...

However, I could always recast her as Lintilla...

Mousse isn't a very close match to Zaphod personality-wise, though - 
I think Zaphod is actually closest to Principal Kunou.

Frankie Mouse and Benjy Mouse would be Tatewaki and Kodachi Kuno...

They're both about as thick-headed as they come, and they both have a 
penchant for bad poetry.  What else could you possibly want?

...And Sasuke as that Vogon Guard--although personality-wise, that wouldn't

Kodachi, personality-wise, seems rather like the 'daughter' that 
Arthur gets in "Mostly Harmless".

Kodachi--Ranma's daughter?  Hmmm...

Then again, she could be Agrajag, who's started a vendetta over
Arthur-chan, but has fallen in love with Arthur-kun...  :)

For a scary thought, how about LinLin and RanRan as the two mice? :)
Maybe Pink and Rink?

And, last but not least, Marvin would be Ryouga Hibiki, with Ki-blasts
