Didn't Ranma put the ring on AFTER Nabiki had unsuccessfully attempted to 
transform him/her? (Gender specific pronouns and Ranma do not mix)

You know i was trying to figure out what was bugging me about that fic and
you just hit the nail on the head.  Specialy how she wouldn't let the Nurses
take the ring from her.  I noticed that but didn't make to much of a fuss
about it.  But now that Ranma is stuck as a girl you just have to wonder
about that ring.
