Actually, I really don't see a problem with Ranma learning Tai-Chi.  He
already knows Aikido, which, from what I understand, is similar in theory
(Redirection of momentum).  At least I think he knows Aikido.  I'm not
really sure.  I know that he knows Kempo, but was it just in a fic that he
knows Aikido, or is that canon?  Is it that 'Never stated but generally held
to be a fact' canon?

(I hate it when I start mistaking Ranma fics for Ranma reality.)

(BTW, I'm out camping in the Pine Barrens, but I did manage to get my
laptop's modem running.  I'm not too sure if I'll be able to reply, but if
