nice to get a chance to be alone with Ranma, neh?  ^_^

Actually, I was similar. I didn't _hate_ Kodachi, I just didn't like
her. And then I wrote Emptiness and Renewal, where I tried to give an
introspective scene to all the major characters, and... bugger, it was
just something about how I was thinking when I wrote Kodachi's little 
scene that all of a sudden, I found I had a real soft spot for her, 
insanity and all. You can probably tell, she suddenly gets far bigger
roles in the two fics written after E+R, LiNE and Neko. I'm even 
writing a Kodachi-centric fic right now, when I would NEVER have considered
doing that when I started writing.

And when I wrote Ryouga and Ukyou, I definately didn't like Ryouga, 
but after writing a fic that big with him as the main character, I 
managed to develop a soft spot for him as well. That's one of the 
reasons I'm writing Neko, to try and get out any bad feelings I have 
for Ranma (ARGH! NO! I don't hate him! Stop asking me that! But I
don't LIKE him either, and so that's one of many points to writing Neko).
