I must admit I have not read from the tales of our sister of the cyberd
arm for a while but I liked it.
I think there are a lot worse things out there (and I may be reading then
too ;) and that at it's very least the comic shows two things.....
1. empowerment of female characters (which is weird because it's about a
nun)
2. although it goes on sayuing some things about corruption within an
orginized religion (like you don't know which one :) It also points out
the valuse of belief and faith - things questioned in today's troubled
times....
As far as I know things have gotten wishy-washy in the C-church about
demons (they have sucked off, saying such things as these are simply
representatins of the negative wishes of man....) I feel that this simply
weakens spiritual arguments about God.
If you truly believe in the "banality of evil" ( a book worth reading)
then there is no room for God either.
I think that there is evil in the banal but there is also another sort.
As far as my beliefs go I'm not Catholic but accept some of the values (
the keyword is SOME) of
that church ( You could think that this of course is a strange thing for
someone who was raised a Scottish Presbeterian (Knox) whose mother calls
him up to wish him "Happy Solstice."but it's true.)
anyway...
gotta jam.

I met a Lady in the Meads,
Full beautiful, a faery's child,
Her hair was long, her foot was light
And her eyes were wild.
