Scuse me for a silly question but I don't have a Japanese dictionary
(will buy one when I have the cash)
Could someone please give me possible translations of the following
words into Japanese (if possible cantonese and Mandarin too) It's for
a fic idea I had...
Fair...(not kawaii if possible, more beauty than cute)
mei (3rd tone), [mandarin]
utsukushii, (meaning beautiful, lovely), in Japanese, but I'm unsure if
there are any connotations and such...
Angel....(I'm figuring some sort of Kami most likely...ideas
appreciated)
You could always use what they did in Evangelion... :)
(What was it, shito?)
Child...
kodomo [japanese]
hai (3rd tone) zi [mandarin]
If you're going to use Japanese in your work, perhaps a program
that would be _extremely_ helpful is NJstar, in which you can type in
Japanese in shift-JIS, but more importantly, has a dictionary. Though
it's somewhat limited, being a shareware version, that's where I got all
the information I gave you (well, Japanese anyway...).
