It took me two hours to do this, but my mailbox is finally empty,
somewhat.  Anyway, I have somethings to get of my chest in an all
in one post.

RE:  the copyright thing.   
	Yeah, we're living a tenuous existence here, especially
when I remember trying to go to one of the pages that had a translation
on it and hearing it was being shut down because of copyright restrictions.

	I wouldn't say it's legal or illegal, but as long as no one gets
hurt or makes money, I don't see it as a problem.  I remember being on
a comics forum where the comic writers encouraged us to have fun with the
characters, and lots of parodies and fanfics came out of it.  The situation
is different, because those writers didn't *own* the characters, but nontheless,
they were creators.  So it counts, sorta.


RE: the C&C/Redneck's Rant thing

	I may be a cantankerous old fox for saying so, but sometimes if
I don't like the first few paragraphs of a fic, I won't read the whole thing.
I also don't read fics from anime I haven't seen, nor will I read 'fics by certain
authors (who will remain nameless)  I C&C either when I'm asked to by the
author directly or when I see a lot of flaws.  I give praise where it's needed
and offer advice (but don't shove my opinions down people's throats).
Therefore, I can agree with Redneck, but I also disagree with his stance
on darkfics and OOC fics.  But it's a personal thing, so I won't get into it 
at all.

RE: the Ranma's hair color thing

	God, we've gone over this a thousand times.  And I'll repeat my
opinion.  If it's possible for a man to change his physical form
from male to female, it's possible that his hair changes color, too.
It may not be canon, but it's possible.

RE: the Nodoka thing (in Purple Haired Destiny 2)

	I haven't read chapter two yet (misplaced it) but I do have to say
that if Nodoka's slightly out of character, then that's the author's 
perogative.  I don't remember him saying that it was supposed to be
an Original Flavor Fic, so there's no point arguing it.  In fact, almost
all of the characters in the 'fic are OOC, but then again, that's my opinion.
