"Makoto, don't!" cried Shayla-Shayla, flying towards the Eye of God as
fast as she could.  At the northern pole, she could see Makoto, kneeling
down and putting his hands on the mighty weapon's surface.

She'd been worried lately, when he wasn't acting like himself.  She
dismissed it as a part of his obsession with Ifurita.

Tonight, though, after accidentally stumbling upon the notes he had
scribbled madly, she knew the truth.

Something had taken a hold of his mind, something from the darker
dimensions.  An ancient evil that had scarred El Hazzard once, ages ago,
and was apparently striving for a comeback.

The Eye of God flared to life.

"Dammit, Makoto, don't make me do this!" she yelled.  If the legends were
true, El Hazzard was DOOMED if they came back now.  The armies of the
Alliance and the Bugrom were both too weak.  They would be nothing against
the power of The Horde.

If she had to kill him, so be it.

The first dark portal formed down below.  There wasn't any time left.

"I'm sorry," she whispered.  A ball of energy formed in her hand.  Makoto
was dead in her sights.

*THUD*

Shayla gasped for breath, clutching her stomach.  The world was spinning
madly around her and there was an axe buried in her midsection.

It was too late.

*

"My lord Tagar, the Bonechewer Clan awaits your order."

"Begin gathering raw materials.  Send troll scouts out to inspect the
territory around us.  And seize the human named 'Makoto'."

alter the icons for Warcraft so that it'd be Bugrom vs. Alliance?
