True, but it could charm the socks of anybody (if you did it right). Mix a
bit of mythism here, a bit of romance there and you might be able to
concoct a reasonable good story. Any of you heard of tales where musical
instruments can be used to amplify one person's ki and therefore could be
used as a weapon?

I just recently saw that series; the main method of combatting the
evil spirit-sucking vampires is to sing at them.  It's scary, really;
these people have taken Minmei's tactics and refined it to an art
form, to the point where they can shoot huge ki-like blasts just by
singing... 

Hmmm...  Macross 7/2, anyone?  
DoCo could become the most powerful fighting team on Earth...  ^_^;
