I tend to see it the EXACT opposite way. I think the more time Shampoo
spends around Mousse, the more likely it is that he'll lose her friendship
forever. He spends too much obsessively chasing after her that she'll just
get more and more annoyed with him, not less, after time (something
Shampoo herself should realize abut her own tactics with Ranma) and
Mousse's continued reckless actions and desperate challenges to Ranma are
just going to keeping making Shampoo madder and madder at him.

The duck boy really doesn't have much chance for Shampoo, IMHO.

I see you're point. Except for the last statement. Just as if Ramna gets
to know Shampoo better love might bloom, so if Mousse eases up on his
obsession and just tries to be friends with Shampoo Love has a good
chance to bloom.
