TOO less-than-flattering. Considering that Nodoka was generally portrayed
as a kind albeit very old fashioned and strict in both OAV's and manga, it
made me a bit disturbed at the way Nodoka reacted in this fic. I could
handle her sending Ranma into exile (hopefully temporarily) due to
over-reaction but the way her thoughts ran in this fic made me feel that
you are not doing her fair justice and that you are also treating her
rather harshly

hmmm... I don't know, I mean, she _did_ exact that seppuku oath from RAnma
and his father, whose to say she wouldn't have gone through with it?

Ah ha! But she didn't. Volume 36 of the manga prove that very clearly,
where Ranma's curse was revealed to her by misfortune. I suppose you have a
point here though, because the reason that Ranma was ordered to commit
sepuku in this fic was partly because she thought Ranma wasn't being manly
enough, and partly because she thought Ranma failed his family's vow in not
marrying Akane. Oh dear, I am contradicting myself here. I suppose
circumstances forced her hand....

Yeah, I've been rather harsh on Akane, haven't I? I've gotten quite a
number of complaints about my treatment of her, so maybe I'll have to do
something about it <ideas begin quagulating in Ryan's brain... not that
this is nessisarily a good thing...> ;)

Again, I also agree on the harsh treatment....it is just not like Akane,
and Nabiki for that matter, to over-react to such an extreme

well, in this chapter neither one of them really was acting very
extremely.. (except for maybe that see with Akane and Ukyo, but then she's
understanable mad at Ukyo)... what scene's do you mean?

Well, what I meant is, Akane was over-reacting in her anger from her
conclusions about Ranma and Ukyo. I mean, just a few hours of thinking and
she decided to dump Ranma completely??? Granted, things like that happened
in real life and this happened to relate to their relationship after all
but the crime she thought Ranma had committed was not really that
destructive to cause her feelings to suddenly change to total hatred.
Adultery, OK, Ranma deserves it but just a KISS?!? Akane knew from
experience that not every wrongdoing was Ranma's fault; he had proven time
and time again with facts. You would have at least expected her to demand
proof/evidence etc. before booting him out. Also, Nabiki. This concerns her
sister very much and knowing Nabiki, she never took anything at face value
until she found out for certain for herself. Nabiki also knew that Akane
was prone to jump to conclusions....need I say more? :) Heck, Ryouga got
off alot more lightly than Ranma in this fic, and he had committed an even
bigger crime against Akane than Ranma.
Urrgghhh!! Looks like C&C's had suddenly turned to flames. Gee....never
expected it to come to this. It just sort of touched a nerve within me.
*^_^* Sorry about that. Man, part two even made me more depressed and
irritated but I guess I am just being unfair. This is the first time that I
had been affected this much by a fic, so I hope that is a reasonable excuse
for my flames. I like your work mind, it's just that this fic does not sit
well with me. I pray to Kami-sama and any deity that I would not have to
face that again, or else I will go mad with fury (hmmm....time for a cold
shower, methinks)

Sorry for the negative comments but that is just me voicing my displeasure.
Overall, the fic is rather good though not to my taste. Anyway keep up the
good work.

That's ok. I'm glad you liked it overall, and I don't mind a bit of
critisims, keeps my ego in check ;)
