You don't see me writing posts C&Cing that many fics for a number of reasons.

One, I don't often have time, between working on my own writing, web page
maintenance for Antarctic Press and White Lightning Productions, comic shows
and conventions, etc.

Two, I don't read a lot of stories posted here- original works and anime
series I don't recognize, as well as darkfics, get deleted automatically.
Most of the others get killed about four paragraphs in when I get bored
and/or annoyed with the author. 

And three, I was taught, if you don't have anything nice to say about
something, don't say anything at all unless directly asked.

Why did I bring this up?

'Ranma-Chan.'

(1) "The title explains it all." The title explains *NOTHING*, especially
when Ranko/Ranma-chan as a separate entity from Ranma is such a popular
fanfic convention. 

(2) Another Ranma 1/2 angstfic. Co-starring Akane the Homocidal Maniac. Zero
comedy whatsoever. Every last one of the objections I have to 'Bitter End'
apply here. 

(3) Violation of basic Ranma rules, i. e. 'Ranma cannot be seriously hurt by
Akane's bashing.'

(4) Been There, Done That, Hated It. Numerous 'Ranma dead/ Ranma in
hospital' fics abound, and 'Clothes Make The...' made me sick to my stomach. 

You can guess what my general opinion is of this fic.

Yes, you can write whatever the hell you feel like, but please don't pass
off tragedy to me under 'Ranma 1/2,' at least not without some warning...

...so I can delete the thing unread.

Messages like this are the -biggest- reason why I don't do too much C&C.
Three out of every four would be of this stripe.
