Hm. I dunno, I kinda agree with Priss: That was too easy. If it
was that easy for them to bring GENOM down, (particularly with the
virus planted in aticipation of such an act) I have to wonder why
they didn't do this earlier. One would think that the crimes
committed by the GENOM corporation should be enough impetus to
embark on such an action - why did they need the added danger of
having their identities exposed to spur them into action?

Three reasons strike me:

1) Only Sylia knew of the existence of said virus, and she wasn't
certain it would work. If it hadn't, things would have been much more
difficult, and likely impossible. It was a gamble Sylia didn't want to
take.

2) Bringing down GENOM is an action with the potential for terrible
economic repercussions for the world. Sylia was aware of this fact, but
GENOM didn't leave the Knight Sabers with much of a choice.

3) The Knight Sabers' equipment by the end of Collision (late 2035) has
advanced quite a bit beyond what they were using in Crisis. They're a
LOT stronger now.

The final confrontation with Quincy went over too smoothly, too.
(not in terms of emotion and inner conflict, mind you - those were
masterfully orchestrated and touched me quite a lot) I don't
figure quincy as someone who trusts in the fragile security of a
magnetically shielded, locked suite. He would have some kind of
backup plan in case that security becomes compromised - and the
bluff he tries to pull on Nene doesn't really seem to cut it. Why
not make the first Quincy a real android double (a genuine fake,
so to speak) but Nene discovers that it is *not* remote-controlled
from somewhere else, but actually commanded from within the suite
(Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...). That way she
would still have him caught, but it's not quite as easy as you
have it now.

It's a possibility. It'll take some serious reworking, but I might be
able to pull it off.

Otherwise the ending was lovely.

Thank you.

Sebastian
