Does anybody know Why Akari wasn't in the movies? - Did the movies come out
before her introduction in the Anime/Manga?

	Frankly...Akari wouldn't be too interesting in those settings.

You're evading the question, Andrew!!  No, she wasn't in the manga at the
time of the movies.  Frankly, considering how two-dimensional and repetitive
the anime got towards the end, I'm rather relieved.  I agree that Akari might
not have worked in the later anime's style, where Akane is hyper-tempered
and Ranma is *incredibly* rude.  In the manga, where everyone is much more 
reasonable, she works much better.

Sorry, but I finally got a hold of Volumes 30 and 31, and it just restored
my faith.  Ain't Akari great?  <grin>
