Actually, you might want to start on Dragons of Autumn Twighlight. It
gives a pretty good introduction to Raistlin. I've been thinking about
this for a while, that if the Dragonlance books became a movie, it should
be an anime. Do you agree?
I would love to see a big budget live action movie of the Legends trilogy
(That's the one after Chronicles, and is mainly about Raistlin.) Or, if you
could get a good goth shojo studio like CLAMP to do the manga, then I would
love to see that. To me, Chronicles and Legends are to fantasy what Star
After having seen X the movie, I've got to agree. CLAMP has the
kind of style just perfect for Dragonlance...even the shoujo elements
would have its place, I imagine, in the romances that bud along the way.
And yes, I'd prefer an anime over a live-action film for turning
Dragonlance into a movie.
