Sure, I don't mean to say that this story proves Ataru-Shinobu must

think it proves that there is room to doubt whether Ataru-Lum will happen, 
and that was my point here.

Um, well, have you seen the Inaba OAV that I mentioned in the part you 
snipped? Note that the only doorknob left at the end is Lum's...
