Ok here's an idea - 
Akane gets fed up with Ranma (again) 
Akane Xfers her engagement to Nabiki (Again)
Akane and Ranma cool off because neither is willing to talk about it. 
Nabiki sells her Iinazuke to the Highest bidder(Kodachi has the most money)
Ranma has to move in with Kodachi (oh horrors - the Kuno mansion!)
eventually he learns to love her after he gets to know her better and finds
out why she acts so crazy - maybe they would even be good for each other?
