I promised myself I wouldn't get involved in this debate but I have to agree
with Redneck, All the others may be in love with Ranma but there really is
only one that he is in love with...  Akane.  If he took any of the others it
would have to be because Akane wasn't willing to take him, or wasn't there to
take him.  And he would be settling, noone would end up happy.  Thats it, I
shall say no more on this...

Well, yes, at the end of the manga its pretty clear that it is Akane whom
he loves, but just because they love each other doesn't mean that they
are nessisarily the best match. It could very well be something like Zen's
fic if the two of them hooked up, or more likely their marriage would end
before too long. I'm not saying that Ranma and Akane couldn't ever be
happy together, but I seriously doubt that Akane is the only one that
RAnma could be happy with. If he did end up with Ukyo or Shampoo (maybe
even kodachi, though that's less likely) he could still be very happy,
they all could, depending on what happens between the end of the manga and
when he finnally gets married.

Ok, enough ranting. I'm probably not making much sense anyway since I
haven't slept.
