guys destroy planets on their own.. what use would they have for something
as idiotically expensive and pointless as a Death Star?

It is *****NOT***** going to be serious.  And anyway, if "the ability to
destroy a planet is insignificant compared to the power of the Force", why
didn't Vader just telekinetically blow up Alderaan?
