Actually Mousse kidnapped Akane to try and blackmail Ranma and tried to 
turn *Akane* into a duck as part of the plot.  This gives Mousse the 
unique distinction of being the only Ranma 1/2 character who is shown to 
be willing to cause harm to an innocent unconnected with their fight.

Even Shampoo at her worst only ever targets those who have challenged 
(even if they don't realise it) her.  The only other character to show 
similar disregard for innocent bystanders is Kodachi, and that manifests 
itself in her willingness to "win" her competitions by default.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mousse *threaten* to turn Akane
into a duck so that Ranma would rescue her, and the water spigot that
would supposedly have transformed her contained normal water, while
Mousse sprayed the SODDuck water at Ranma from a seperate, previously
hidden fire-hose?
	Of course, this was all after Mousse had gone on a rampage
earlier, throwing SODDuck-water-filled balloons at Ranma, endangering
bystanders at a carnival.  Go figure, eh?
	Personally, I think Mousse should end up with Kodachi.  How
does that strike ya?
