"Men on Anime", Written By Mike HAYES B: Hi, I'm Blain Edwards. A: And I'm Antwon Merrywether. B&A: And welcome to "Men on Anime". B: The show that take a look enterntainment... A: ...from a masculine point of view. B: Today we'll be looking at animated productions from the land of the rising sun, Japan. A: That's right, we've viewed the some of the best animation out there and are willing to give the nitty gritty. B: Our first feature is the long running TV series "Sailor Moon". A: This featured a team of cute young schoolgirls spinning around naked and changing into demon-thrashing super hereos. A&B: Hated it!! B: I just don't see the facination. A: And why was it that Tuxedo mask never spun around naked? B: A major dissappointment indeed. A: Our next feature is another classic, "Dragon Ball". B: Oh, I bet you are. A: Oh, stop it, you! This series follows the matial arts/ superhero like action centered around Goku. B: Personally, I was dissappointed. I think there was a thing between Goku and Piccolo, but the producers wouldn't let them show it because it would be THAT kind of relationship. A: Really? B: Yeah, It's a color thing. Those Japanese are all racists. A: Well, I rather enjoyed it. All those sweaty men doing battle with one another to save the planet. I found it _suki_! B: Oh, save that for later! A: No, I mean "suki", that's japanese for "good" or "goodness". You know I'm BI- lingual. B: Well goodness me, it's time for out last feature, KIZUNA. A: Yes, this was by far our favorite. B: Say, what does "kizuna" mean in Japanese? A: It means "bonds". B: Oh! Well nothing beats a good love triangle. A: That's right. This is why KIZUNA gets a very special... B&A: Two snaps up in a circle!! A: And well, that all the time we have today. B: So, until next time, this is Blain Edwards A: And Antwon Merrywether B&A: And Sayonara from "Men on Anime"!
