Sure, he's attacked Ranma on numerous occasions, brandishing pointy 
objects; which one of Ranma's rivals hasn't done that?  And Ranma is 
more than capable of defending himself.  Sure, he kidnapped Akane and 
tried to turn Ranma into a duck; what's so bad about that?  ^^;; Okay, 
it is pretty creepy; but others have done similar if not worse things, 
and besides it's not the same as trying to kill someone.

Wait a minute.  Ryoga has never run around with sharp pointy things aimed at
Ranma...nor has he kidnapped Akane.  And while Mousse has absolutly no
redeeming qualities whatsoever, at least Ryoga is Ranma's friend. (Well, as
close to a friend as Ranma is going to get...)

Now that I think about it, have there been many fics that explore the
friendlier side of Ranma and Ryoga's relationship?  And before you ask 'What
friendly side?', I suggest you read what happened between Ryoga and Ranma in
the Hiryu Shoten Ha arc.  If it weren't for Ryoga, Ranma would never had
learned this much vaunted technique.  I doubt a you would help a 'hated
enemy' learn so powerful a technique.
