Hi fellow FFML'ers, with the announcement of Anime Expo I figured I should
announce one of the very few anime conventions to show up in Canada.  On
Saturday August 9th Toronto will host Anime North, A one day con featuring
lots of panels, a dealers room, two viewing rooms, Gaming, an art show,
costumes and a whole lotta other stuff.  Sure it's only a day thing, but for
one of the first cons in Canada it's a start.

Not quite one of the first... this summer, July 13 & 14 is AnimeThon 4 here
in Edmonton, Alberta. :) (And before AnimeThons 1-4 were DragonBalls 1 & 2
:)

 It's taking place in the
Mitchner Institute in Downtown Toronto just a five minute walk from the
subway at 222 St. Patrick street.  For anyone in Canada or the States this
should be a good con.  

It's taking place at Grant MacEwan Community College, City Center campus at
107th street and 104th avenue.  	For anyone in western Canada, AnimeThon
4 should be a good con. ^_^;
