Actually (I think) there is a story where Nodoka is the Goddess of Ki and Ranma
is training to be the God(dess) of Martial Arts. Can't remember the name,
though.

The Onnama Saotome Hibiki storyline, if I recall correctly.  

Another fun story with a Ranma character taking on godlike powers is 
Eimii's "Shattered Hearts on the Road", where Ryouga gets lost in 
Yggdrasil and ends up talking to the wrong computer...
