BTW, the main character's name of "Slade" really irks me. In the >version that
was seen in Australia (three months before the US >release, it was "Blade",
which was also his Japanese name as a >Tekkaman, and is what I prefer (In his
normal form in the Japanese >version, he is called "D-Boy" (D for Dangerous
(among other >things))).

Well, I guess D-Boy just didn't sound too unaverage of a name, and Slade is a
name with is often used for people who use blades, also the name rhymes, so I
think it's close enough. I really have no opinion on this.

Also, Ness Carter was Nick Carter in the Australian version, and >Gunnar was
Dagger in both the Australian and Japanese versions. Does >anyone have any idea
why these changes were made?

Beats the heck of out me. But one thing is for sure, Gunnar/Dagger, used an
Energy Bow as a primary weapon, I guess Bow just didn't sound good enough, so
since he's a projectile weapon user, Gunner seemed a bit more logical. Don't you
think?
