Ahhh . . . I know it's terribly backwards of us Americans (south of the
USA/Canadian border, that is), but most people don't use the metric system
for cooking in the United States.

With that in mind, you *might* want to consider converting from grams to
pounds/ounces, and so forth?



Please DON'T!

If you aren't aware this would only work in a straight forward manner 
for certain measures,eg liquid measures are not neccessarly the same on 
both sides of the Atlantic.Cooking a cake using 1/2 a pint of milk 
will get very different results for a british or american measure.
With only one set of standard weights being used conversion is up to 
the local user.
