OK all you people out there who are misspelling various Japanese words
(I'm not talking about the names of characters, that's a personal choice,
but these are not)
Dojo: place of martial arts training and practice (it is not doujo or
doujou or dojou it is dojo this is the _official_ spelling acording to
every martial artist and japanese person I have spoken to)
Gi or Dogi or Do-gi: martial arts uniform; if specific to a marital art
ie Judo it is Judogi or Judo-gi (Akane is wearing a Judo-gi in the
manga-you can tell by the cut and the thickness of the material, it's too
heavy to be a Karate-gi or Tai-Kwon-Do-gi) (It is _not_ Dougi or Dou-gi
again this is the official spelling not personal)
Kempo: a style of Karate (not kempou, actually Kempo should be refered to
as Kempo-Karate, but it's been shortened to Kempo for convienence)
Judo: a martial arts style originating from Jujitsu (not judou or joudou)
sorry for the spam, but misspellings like the ones above bother me (as a
martial artist my self I have problems understanding those who don't use
the official spelling)
thanx for listening to me rant and rave
