Hiya all! After several months of lousy schedules at work, I have
finally managed to get a good schedule set up! Because of this, I now
have the time to process all the spam! I am back, none the worse for
wear, although regrettably far behind. All my reviewers quit, so it's
just me. Here we go!

First, we have an interesting short from Brett de Jesus called Quid Pro
Quo.

Ranma and Kasumi: Quid Pro Quo
                                    by
                              Brett de Jesus

Ranma stood by the koi pond, practicing his stances. Flipping
from rock to rock, he took up several different poses, threw a couple punches
and kicks, and then moved to another rock, another pose, and another combo.
Being early in the morning, and with both fathers off trying to bury Happosai,
Ranma was alone in the house with the three Tendo sisters. Looking inside,
he saw Kasumi at work in the kitchen, practicing her obento skills.

Bury Happosai? I assume you mean like the cave and rock incident?

Her attention seemed as focused as Kasumi normally got, but what
Ranma saw and what Ranma felt seeing this were two different things. He
really didn't know much about the eldest sister, and hadn't initiated any way
of getting to know her. She had the image of a perfect motherly influence,
and seemed unaffected by everything. The shock of losing her mother must
have really affected her, but he wondered if that was all.
He walked inside, fully awake and invigorated and stood by the kitchen
entryway. "'Morning, Kasumi."
"Good morning, Ranma," she replied over her shoulder.
"Do you need any help with anything?" he offered.
"No, thank you, Ranma. I'm not doing anything important." She
continued her work on designing another obento.
He paused, watching her hands deliberate motions before going away.

Later, Akane and Nabiki had gone out shopping, and Ranma was unusually
not hungry. Walking by the dining room, he saw Kasumi going through the

Not Hungry? This the same Ranma?

motions of a tea ceremony.
He sat down opposite her and watched her perform it flawlessly. He
smiled at her weakly, and waited until she was done, and starting to clean up.
"Kasumi, is everything all right?"
"What ever do you mean, Ranma? Everything is fine. No fiances you
don't know about, no monsters demanding your attention, and no parties coming
up that I don't know about."

First Boring day in Nerima in years.

"No, Kasumi. Is everything all right with you? I mean, we all come
to you with our problems, I was just wondering if you had any?"
*Big Snip*
In the most serious tone, Ranma posed a most specific question.
"Kasumi, when were you raped?" His monotone question was the only thing that
echoed for a few minutes in Kasumi's mind.
        "Wha- How...?" Kasumi stammered.
"I wasn't sure, but of all the things in the world, I wanted to start
at the worst. I'm sorry it had to be that."

Hmmm.... could explain a few things *I* have been curious about...

*Big Snip* Sounds a lot like the typical rape. I watch too many talk
shows. :)

Kasumi had gathered herself together before asking, "How about you,
Ranma?" She noticed the strain on his face.
"I guess you deserve to know. It was in China, and we were looking
for some supper. Being broke, it was hard to get meals, so we had resorted
to begging. Also, being broke, it was hard to get hot water, so I was a girl
much of the time. Pop was off in a forest eating bamboo, while I was in the
city. Usually, after a couple hours, someone would stop and buy me supper,
since I didn't look that bad. Anyways, once, a guy offered me some food, and
I never had a second thought about it, until I was in a dark alleyway behind
a restraunt. I was too hungry to fight, and it happened so fast. A waiter
saw me on the ground, and I thought it was going to get better. He was worse
than the first. Of the few words I knew in chinese, 'food' was the one that
he understood and actually got right. I thought I knew the word for 'no'
but I just figured that I was saying it wrong."

Ranma too weak to fight? Even from hunger? Ok, I can buy that, but i
wouldn't wanna be them guys when he got some food.

"Oh, Ranma. That's terrible." She hugged him close again.
"That's why I intend to be the best martial artist in the world,
because no one can misunderstand a fist in the face." He seemed to flare with
anger.

Ah, a motivation behind Ranma's constant studying. I always just bought
the 'Father pushing the son' routine

"Thank you for confiding in me, Ranma. I won't tell anyone." She had
reacquired some of her strength. Her demeanor calmed him somewhat.
"Me, neither. Thanks for trusting me." He gave her a kiss on the
cheek, and brushed away another tear.
Hearing footsteps on the front walk, Kasumi swept up the tray with
the tea ceremony setting, and pulled Ranma with her into the kitchen.
Akane and Nabiki found Ranma and Kasumi in the kitchen cutting onions.

Cutting onions. Nice cover for the talk.

Ok, to the nitty gritty. Interesting insight into some situations that
may have plagued some people. Not too shabby writing style, but going
by the "standards" most characters were OOC. However, this has never
been a major stickler for anybody, except the Die-Hard fans. A good
short, I expect to see longer from you.

Next we have one of a trio of fluff from Emily Siazon called Worse
Episode. I am not going to quote it here, because if you have read it,
you already know what I have to say. Kinda reminds me of the end of
'Blazing Saddles', where the cast fights through several soundstages and
the comissary(Okay, my spelling sucks). An episode like that would kill
a series. ;) Something to read to lift your spirits. If your already
feeling good, prep a spot on the floor, you just might need it.

Next, Sailor Moon/Godzilla: Roar of the Beast, Part Three by Flashman.

SAILOR MOON/GODZILLA: ROAR OF THE BEAST
                                                Part 3

"No," Jupiter moaned, "Not again. Not him again."

Wow, Jupiter must not like Godzilla.

Godzilla had arrived. He roared his challenge at Space Godzilla. A

Wasn't that MechaGodzilla? Or am I just a product of Americanization?

challenge which was readily answered. Godzilla noticed that SG was
now twice as big as it had been last time.

At last, the one which Space Godzilla had wanted to destroy was here.
Now it would have its revenge. It fired its lightning burst at
Godzilla hitting him across the chest. Godzilla roared in pain, he
had not been expecting such a powerful blast. He answered with his
own radioactive blue fire burst which hit Space Godzilla in the
stomach and sent it reeling back. Godzilla fired again, but this
time the beam was blocked by Space Godzillas energy shield.

The two monsters rushed each other and fought like the animals they
were. They bit and clawed at each other ferociously. Godzillas
dorsal fins glowed a bright blue and Space Godzillas glowed blood red.
Every strike, depending upon who hit it, was followed by a red or
blue arc of power that sparked into the sky.

The duel, under normal circumstances, would have been even. Thanks
to the Ginzuishous power however, it was a duel that the space
monster was winning. Space Godzilla bit Godzilla in the throat hard,
drawing blood. Godzilla yelped, staggered back and fired his heat
beam again. It hit Space Godzilla but did no damage. Godzilla was
getting frustrated. He focused a great deal of his power and
released it in one big pulse wave aimed at his alien clone. The
Nucular Pulse Blast was one of Godzillas mightiest weapons. A move
he usually did out of pure desperation and when he needed to hurt his
enemy quickly and badly. It had never been blocked.... until now.

It bounced off Space Godzillas energy shield and redirected back to
its source. Godzilla screatched as his own power struck him and
knocked him to the ground. Godzilla knew he was in REAL trouble when
several of the crystals on the ground, answering the mental command

Crystals? When and where did they come from?

of their master, lifted into the air and started to crash down on him.
Godzilla felt his world starting to go black.

The Senshi meanwhile, were busy listening to Sailor Mars as she laid
out her plan. To be more accurate.... MOST of the Senshi were
listening, while Sailor Jupiter just shivered and watched the dueling
Godzillas.

"What do we do?" Venus asked.

"It goes like this," Mars replied, "Mercury, use your computer and
try to find out where the energy readings are the strongest on Space
Godzilla. That's probably where the Ginzuishou is."

Mercury nodded, pulled out her computer and VR visor and scanned
Space Godzilla. "Found it!" she cried happily, "Now what?"

"Now we use a skill I learned from my Shinto training. We all join
hands and try one big Sailor Planet Attack. While we're doing that
I'll also want you to think all the positive thoughts and feelings
you have for Usagi. I'll then use my Shinto powers to broadcast them
along with the Sailor Planet Attack and when it hits Space Godzilla
it should energize Usagi enough to let her escape..... I hope."

"If she's still alive," Uranus added dowerly.

"DON'T think like that," Venus scolded, then turned to Mars and said,
 "Let's do it."

They all turned to Jupiter who was sitting in a corner and shivering
like crazy. "Mako...." Mars began.

"No," Jupiter replied softly, "Don't make me face him again. I
can't do it."

"Yes you can," Mercury snapped, "Usagi needs you to be strong and
help save her!"

Those words must have been magical, for Jupiter stood up as if the
fear had been burned away. Usagi... her best friend, the one who had
ignored her bad reputation and had reached out to her in a time of
great loneliness, needed her now more than ever. She would NOT fail
her this time.

Ah, friendship and perhaps even more overcomes all.

The nine Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen joined hands and concentrated all
their power into one big ball in the center of the human circle they
formed. Not only did they send their power into the ball, they also
sent their feelings and greatest thoughts about the one who was a
friend and more to them all.

The ball grew larger and larger until it could no longer be
contained and was released on the combined cry of, "SAILOR PLANET
ATTACK!!!"

The incandescent, multicolored ball flew through the air and struck
Space Godzilla in the dead center of its solar plexus. Space
Godzilla reared back in surprise and.... no other visible effect
occurred.

Godzilla stood as his power slowly returned to him. He roared his
challenge to Space Godzilla once more to prove he was not out of the
fight yet. He ran at the alien monstrosity and bashed his head into
Space Godzillas stomach. Then he fired his burst of flame again and
hit Space Godzilla in the face. He brought his tail around and
knocked off one of his foes shoulder crystals. To his surprise, the
crystal regenerated itself and seemed even stronger then before.
Godzilla fired another burst of flame and tried to destroy the other
one. Unfortunately, that one instantly regenerated as well.
Godzilla backed off slowly in confusion.

"It didn't work," Mars said weakly and then she yelled, "It should
have worked!"

That seemed to be the secret words, for as soon as the cry had

Ah, a trigger! Nifty power that!

escaped her lips, than Space Godzilla staggered back as though in a
great deal of pain. Energy crackled around its form and it shrunk
from its larger size to its normal one and then grew back to its
bigger one in seconds. The process repeated over and over again,
until Space Godzilla started to make strange coughing sounds.

Regurgitating a sailor scout? ewwww.....

Godzilla stood and watched, a growl of confusion escaping his lips.
What was going on here? He was unsure of what to do next.

Space Godzilla let out its cough several more times before it opened
its mouth as wide as it would go, raised its head skyward and a mile
high beam of pure, blinding, white light shot out.

All the Senshi covered their eyes and when they dared to look.....

They saw a sight they had though that they would have never seen
again. Princess Serenity floated from out of the beasts jaws and
hovered in the now night sky. Godzilla could feel the power
radiating from this new interloper. Also, he could tell that THIS
was what had called him. The little figure in the light floated
along side him and faced Space Godzilla, apparently wanting to help.

Fine, was Godzillas line of reasoning, if this creature wanted to
help, than let it help.

Ok, the bottom line. Firstly, I only have a little Experience with
Sailor Moon, so as to the characterization, Well, seemed good to me.
Story line, hmmm. Too short to get a decent feel for it. Need more.
Spelling, A little off, but who isn't. ;) Godzilla seemed to be OOC,
but then he is usually just destroying Tokyo. Not to bad, keep it up.

Ok, that's it for now. A coupla longer ones I have to read first, then
Reviews! No letting the cat outta the bag this time, and I,
regrettably, have to withdraw the old offer of send me a fic to review.
I got like a ton of huge stories, and just couldn't keep up with those
and the ML. Happy trails, and keep writing!
