"UNLIKELY LOVE STORY"

    She looked deeply into his deep blue eyes and smiled. "Because my
problem has been solved." 

    "I have finally found my true love." She whispered as she 
levitated a couple of inches and gave him a kiss.

(Somewhere on the south side of Chicago, LaShawn stares at her screen.)

LaShawn:  Ann and Kuno? That's a new one. Shame I didn't consider that when
I wrote Heart/Home.

(Suddenly, there's a knock on the door. LaShawn goes to answer it and greets
a glowing-green Lita.)

Lita: What?! She gets Kuno?!  I thought you promised him to me!

LaShawn: Well, *I* didn't write it. I thought it was rather funny.

Lita: Oh, no. I'm not going to stand for this! Not after all you put me through!

LaShawn: But I haven't even finish--erk!

(Lita grabs LaShawn and instantly transports to the scene of the crime. She
marches up to the kissing couple.)

Lita: Right! Stop that! Stop it right now!

Kuno: And who might you be, my elegant angel of mighty height?

Lita: *I'm* the one you're supposed to fall in love with, not her!

Kuno: Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of what you are speaking about.
However, that's not to say that I'll have no problems falling for one as
beautiful as you...

Ann: What?! Hey, back off, stork! I saw him first!

Lita: Stork, huh? First Alan, then Darien, and now Kuno. They got a word for
a woman with a harem, you know, but unlike you, I am a lady.

Ann: YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!

Lita: (raising her fists) Why don't you make me?

(There's an eruption of fists, hot blasts, fists, hair, and lightening.)

Kuno: Ah! How pure is their love, to the point of dueling for my hand. Such
loyalty! Such passion! 

(He launches into several Elizabethean sonnets.  Meanwhile LaShawn is
watching all this when Emily walks up.)

LaShawn: This is all your fault, you know.

Emily: Yes, but I thought it was a good idea at the time.

LaShawn: Yeah, but look at them? Fighting over Kuno? Kuno?!

Emily: Well it can always get worse....

(At this moment, Tenchi appears).

Goku: What the--? How did I get here.

(Lita and Ann pause.)

Ann: Those eyes!

Lita: That body!

Lita & Ann: HUNK!!!!!!!

Tenchi: Huh?

Ryouko: Back off girls! He's mine!

Lita: We saw him first!

Ann: I saw him first!

Aeka: How dare you!

Ryouko: Tenchi! Darling!

Aeka: Hands off, sister!

ALL GIRLS: OH, YEAH?!?!

(Utter pandemonium)

Emily: You see?

LaShawn: Ahh...

No offense, Emily ^_^. I thought it was hysterical, so I decided to write a
little follow-up story, combining that with a teaser for Chapter 7 of
Heart/Home. No, Tenchi and the others do not show up, but let's just say the
first meeting between Lita and Kuno will be very, very interesting. :)
