This is one serious fic. It's a romp of a good time, but I think that this
might have been worse to read then Bitter End. At least in 'BE', when a
character died, they were gone. You could visit their grave, but there was
no other physical representation of them. In this one, Mousse is dead,
Ryoga is dead, Akane is dead, they are all dead, yet their bodies still
move. They still walk and can still be seen, but the spirit, the soul that
was Akane, Ryoga, Mousse, and the others, is gone forever. That's got to
really suck for Shampoo and, especially, Ranma.

Now for the little discussion.

My portable CD player broke today, so I was forced to listen to the radio as
I was driving. I turn to a modern rock station, and start to catch up on
modern music. One song came on, and I had to pull over due to overwhelming
emotions. The DJ started playing 'One Headlight' by The Wallflowers, and I
started thinking of 'Bitter End'. I didn't start crying, but I was damn
near close. (Just so you know, the next song was 'Secret Garden' from
'Jerry Maguire', so everything was right in the world.) I'm just a little
curious, does this happen to anyone else? Are there songs that make you
think of certain fanfics, or scenes from your favorite anime?

If you'll excuse me, I have to go and watch a lot of Ranma so he can
reassert his hold on my reality, and get away from Ranma fanfics for a while.

Ja!!
