that's happened to me....sort of.  While i've never posted anything i've
taken the time to once and a great while type in 5 or 6 lines in a BGC fanfic
i've been playing with for the past year.  Let's just say that i lost the
program i originaly wrote the story in.  When i tried to get other programs
to read the fic it looked like someone took a shotgun to the fic.  Letters
and entire words were missing.  Sounds fun huh?  But i guess loosing the
story entirely like what happened to you was much, much worse.
