Yep, shaped like a mountain. But as for the elevators...

I can see an elevator that's at the center of the complex that about 2/3 of
the way up becomes a windows elevator.
And i very much doubt that anyone know's for sure if they have those
elevators. If you make it believeable i'm sure no one will notice. hehehe

Well... check episode 6 when Madigan lets Largo into Genom Tower. As the elevator rises, Largo looks out the window at MegaTokyo and makes a comment about never wanting to go back down. The elevator is on the outside of the building, just as the elevators were on the Tyrell building in Blade Runner ;)
