Frankly I hope you change your mind and write many more aftermath stories.
I enjoyed this much more than magic.

Magic was about the mystery and the adventure. 
Even if you did not intend it the characters faded into the background.
This story was about the characters.
I could read a dozen stories about Kun Lun and Nouma and their life.
With little small adventures for a background.
It is unfortunate that so many fan fic's are about big splashy events. 
I much prefer a story that focuses on the people rather than the events.
I guess that's why I like Maison Ikkoku so much. {Not the Anime version}
Any way if you chose to write in this style again, I for one will read it
with great enjoyment.

I was a little dismayed at Kun Lun in effect forcing her self on Nouma-chan

you covered that topic.
