Chapter 4
The Reamergence

As every one continued to look some what confused over what had just happened to them Susan just stood in the center of the room, and waited for everyone to calm themselves a bit. She noteced with a bit of suprise that Ranma and Akane actual looked rather calm for what had just happened to them a short while ago. The looks she was getting from some of the other scouts however were not so pleseant.
�Oh well better get on with it before they get to upset� se thought to herself.
�As you all know by now�, started Susan looking at Akane and Ranma, �we all lived long ago in a place called the Moon Kingdom. Which was about 1,000 years ago. This period was called the Silver Mellenium because all the planets were at peace, and joy rang out throught the universe. This peace and happiness continued until the Negaverse showed up and destroyed the moon kingdom. It was thought for a time that the Negaverse would never be able to locate us and cause us any trouble, but in the end one of our own betraid us to them. The traitor was banished from the kingdom, while his children were allowed to stay. After we had found out about this betrail it was just a matter of hours after it that the Negaverse attacked and distroyed the 5th planet imediatly, and creating the asteroid belt, before attacking the moon it self.

The Reamergence

Luna and Artimis were just awakening from a sudden bolt of energy that had hit them in their crescent moon symbols on their heads. �What was that?� Luna asked
Then they just looked at each other with very wide eyes.
�Do you think..� started Artimis.
Luna just gave a quick yes, and added that they better get to the shrine fast (normal scout meeting place for when odd things happen).

Back in the shrine

�Has anyone seen Luna or Artimis?� asked Serena very quietly looking towards Ranma after the statement.
�No they said they were going to the arcade to check the computer. Why�.,� Mina asked then followed Serena�s gaze, and then suddenly understood the question.
�I hope they don�t come here.� Replied Lita, �I would hate to see just what he is capable of doing in this cat-fu.�
�Maybe one of us should go and keep a look out for them, and keep them out of here for a while� suggested Rei
� Too late� mumbled Amy as Luna and Artimis started to enter the room. Fortunately Ranma�s view of the cats were blocked by Susan in the room.
At hearing the conversation behind her Susan turned around, and asked if they had anything to add. Then she noticed where their gaze, and turned to see the two cats entering the room. �Hello Luna, Artimis� she said, still in the way of Ranma, and Akane�s view. �Who�s Luna and Artimis?� asked Akane quickly, but then the memory suddenly hit her as she turned to see Ranma backing fearfully into the wall. With his own memory returning of who belonged to those names. The Outer Senshi were just taking notice of his behavior and were about to ask what was going on when the two cats steeped into Ranma and Akane�s view. �Caaaattttsss!!!� Ranma howled and seemed to shrink even more into the wall.
Everyone now was looking at Ranma, but before anyone of the Outer Senshi got to ask what was going on Luna spoke up.
�What is the problem with him�
Akane spoke up before anyone else, mostly because everyone else was in shock due to Ranma�s reaction to Luna and Artimis�s presence.
�He is afraid of Cats,� she said in no uncertain terms �and if you don�t get out of his sight now, their might not be much left of this room.�. It was an exaggeration, she knew Ranma wouldn�t destroy the room, but didn�t feel like having the Neko-Ranma around right now. The two cats looked at the Inner Senshi, and were told to quickly leave, and not to bother him for a while. When the cats were out of the room Ranma seemed to calm quit a bit. He managed to say a thank you to the inner senshi, and then grumbled something about just what he needed cat protectors, and something else Akane couldn�t quit hear.
�It�s true isn�t it.� Asked Rei.
�Would you like a demonstration?!� quipped Ranma
�Of your Jusenkeyo curse yes, of Cat-Fu no� replied Rei very quickly
�Well, OK just go get some hot and cold water.� Replied Ranma glumly.
When Rei returned with the water they quickly went through the demonstration. Everyone looked shocked, except Ranma and Akane.
�Wow, I seen it and I Still don�t believe it� chirped Serena.
�It�s starting to get late, why don�t we break up for the night.� Said Susan �Mina, Serena will you two please explain to Luna and Artimis about Ranma and his fear?�
�Sure.� They replied in unison
�Wait a minute� Ranma said, �you mean that I am going to be in the same house as one of those CATS!�
Yes, was the simple answer he received from both Akane and Serena.
�You will just have to live with it sense your the one who agreed to come here in the first place. Hey and who knows over the year you may loose you fear of cats� Akane replied heatedly.

Before they left they decided that Luna should run ahead of them, and go into Serena�s room when she got home so not to scare Ranma again tonight. Walking to Serena�s house Ranma, Akane and Serena talked about what it was like in their respective neborhoods. One thing was for sure, it was decided that Akane and Ranma deffintly had the more interesting lives on earth. With the craziness of Nerma and now the addition of being brought into the ranks of the sailor scouts.
�How is Darian, and are you two still engaged?� Akane suddenly asked
This took Serena by suprise
�Well he is my brother. I was just wondering.� She continued
Serena suddenly brightened, she hadn�t thought about it before but Akane was right, and Darian now had a family that he could actually visit. I�ll have to tell him about this tomorrow she thought to herself.
�Maybe we can visit your brother tomorrow Akane.� Suggested Ranma.
�Great idea, what do you think Serena.�
�Well, that shouldn�t be a problem. If he has gotten his memory back as well he will want to see you as well. However I don�t think that we will be able to wait to see him tomorrow.� Stated Serena.
�And why is that� asked Ranma
�Because he is with Rini at my house,� Serena began, �I left him there when I went to the train station to get you guys.�
�Who is Rini?� asked both Ranma and Akane at the same time
Looking a little sheepish she told them that she was her daughter. This was followed with looks of shock from Ranma and Akane, but it was quickly explained that Rini was from the future, well as quickly as one could explain it.
The rest of the walk home was done in silence as Ranma thuoght about what his brother-in-law was like, trying not to rely on what he knew about him from is past, and Akane thinking about what it would be like to see here bother after so long of a absence from the family, old and new.
Soon Serena said this is the place and began the walk to the font door.�
