  I agree with what you've said.  All the matchups listed above were the
"standard" ones.  These types of matchups have been done to death, and by
now are quite boring and uninteresting.  Several of them, like
Shampoo/Mousse, Nabiki/Kuno do not logically work out.  Try and be
original in this, and try to keep things logical.  Marriage does not cure
all.  Go into a marriage expecting to solve everything magically, and you
are headed for a sure divorce.  Marriages take *work* to accomplish. 
Ranma/Akane is one you should really look out for.  Unless Akane learns to
control her temper, the relationship is guaranteed to go bad.  Do not
arbritraily hook people together and assume "happily ever after."
