Okay...So I've gotten a wee bit upset at the never ending debate of some
people over who would be the best fiancee for Ranma over the last year or
so (and perhaps I'm wondering why we haven't heard of impromptu wrestling
matches between Ukyou/Shampoo/Akane fans at any of the Anime con's..). So
in an attempt to poke some fun at people who care perhaps a little too
much about the Ranma fiancee debate (or maybe to provide a slew of new
crossover ideas for Ranma fanfic authors) I present...
Non-Ranma Fiancees for Ranma...
(Or how would Ranma react with these girls as his Fiancee...:)
1) Ryouko (Tenchi Muyo!!)
Heh, Ryouko is more powerfull then Ranma, and has a very nasty temper if
you upset her. Chances are Ranma would be rethinking his insults almost
immeditily...
2) Priss (BGC)
If you forget about the time difference, you have essentially the same
tension as the Ryouko one (unless Priss is sans Hardsuit...). Still it
would be fun to see Ranma against Genom (Ranmapunk plug here for Mr
Biles...^^)
3)Ayukawa Madoka (KOR)
Let's just say that Ayukawa would drive Ranma mad since Ranma does possess
less social skill's then Kasuga. Ranma would have to work really hard to
smooth over and relationship for her. And then if Kasuga is still involved
(ESP, ESP!!!)
4)Makoto Kino (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon..)
Hmm, well she's one of the better fighters and she can cook and clean (and
is also very independent). But I'd leave this alone because Lemon Sherbet
already dealt with this in a way...:)
5) Lina Inverse (Slayers..)
It's Megumi vs Megumi!!! And I have no problem saying Lina-san could
pummell Ranma into non-existence, and given Ranma's usuall method of
handling woman...^^
6) Urd (O/AMG!!)
Heh...This could just write it self...Espically when Urd finds out Ranma's
secret...
7) Noa Izumi (Patlabor)
Had to throw her in because I'm a Patlabor nut, and it could probably work
out with no real problems though I could see Ranma trying to take on the
Griffion to protect Noa...^^
8) Shun (Here is Greenwood)
And yes, I've seen Greenwood and I know who Shun is. But I'm asuming here
that Genma has the IQ of an ant and would make the arrangement anyway. And
what with Ranma's curse..(actually like this idea, might do this sometime
down the road..)
9) Mikage Matsunaga (Miracle Girls)
In here because she's a Chemist, and I think she's Kawaii..^^
10) Himeko Nonohara (Hime-chan no Ribbion)
I would love to see Ranma try and get his hands on the Magical Ribbion and
releize that a cure is just a step away. Of course Hime-chan may not want
to share it..:)
11) Miyu (Vampire Princess Miyu..)
Somehow I can see Genma doing this, just because it's Genma...^^
12) Kei (Dirty Pair)
Like Ryouko and Priss, only she's got a partner to back her up and some
more weaponery. Bigger time difference too...Then again knowing fate Genma
would find away to hook Ranma up with a Dirty Pair flash character...
13) Hikaru Shido (Magical Knight Rayearth...)
Hey, Ranma might get lonely being one of the few Red-Haired anime
characters with a Ponytail. At least here he's found some one else with
Red Hair..^^ (That and Chephiro might hold a cure)
14) Lum (Urusei Yatsura)
Imagine Akane souped up with Lighting and space mecha, and even a Ranma
hater would start to feel sorry for him. Of course with Ataru and the Lum
stormtropers even Ranma might be running from a fight after awhile...(This
has been done, see Still Water's Run deep and I forget the name of the
great Volleball fic that pitted Furnikan vs Tomboki..Great Stuff..:)
15) Ai Amano (Video Girl Ai..)
Hey, another Megumi vs Megumi..^^ Doubt this would happen though, since
Genma really wouldn't want to pay for the Renting of the tape...:)
16) Karen Aoi (DNA^2)
Well she always wanted a sweet home, how about a Dojo...^^ Well it
wouldn't be boring mind you (and more fun with curses...:)
17) Pai (3x3 eye's)
Hmm, well Ranma could fight good. Make him a Wuu and near immortal and
pair him with Pai and...(Gee, yet another Megumi vs Megumi pairing...:)
18) Christina Mackenzie (Gundam 0080)
Heh...Might as well use another Megumi role for a pairing. Ranma would not
work well in the Gundam world, since he really wouldn't be able to do
anything about the events in the Gundam world...A great reality bringer
for Ranma..:)
19) Lynn Minemi (Macross)
I don't know, since I threw Gundam in there I had to put in Macross...^^
20) Kiki (Kiki's Delivery Service..)
No Reason, Just thought it would be fun to plug a Miyzaki Movie here
too....Kiki's is one of the Best Anime movies out there, so watch it
okay...^^ (I place it ahead of Patlabor 1, which I also think rocks and
Sailor Moon r, the best anime Sailor Moon..)
Anyway...there it is...So flame away Fiancee fan's, you've got some knew
compition on the block...^^
