Last I checked, this was a FANFIC mailing list?

        So Robert was being purist. Obnoxiously purist. Fine. He's
apologized. He retracted his statements.
        So Chris was being harsh. Very harsh. He was writing in white heat,
like all good writers do. Sure, he didn't apologize, but since he meant what
he said, and he's said what he meant, should we really be prolonging this?
        Whether or not Robert deserved the thrashing makes no difference
anymore. This is over.

        The first thing I learned on this list (besides the NO TEST MESSAGES
rule) was that everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. 
        The next thing I learned was that this list (during the YAOI phase)
was not the place to discuss some things. Like politics. Or sub/dub. The
sub/dub debate has been done to death, guys. To each his own.

        This is done. Everyone, go back to whatever you were doing before
this started.
