Am I the only one that's this unlucky? Please, please tell me I'm not
the only one. I need some company. I need some sympathy. I need some
form of attenion, damnit, that's what I need. This is just' TOO
depressing and frustrating that I'd have to go through alone. Misery
loves company Y'know.

I've lost 60k worth of fanfic before, yes. It's happened to me several
times. When I was in college, I didn't have a computer of my own. I
kept *some* copies of my fanfics on my student account, and *some*,
especially the more recent, more current ones, on disk. I carried a box
of disks around with me in my backpack. That box of disks was stolen,
then replaced (and what I had printed out of the fanfics typed back in
again), then stolen again. To this day, I *still* haven't recreated
everything I'd lost. I might eventually, someday. There was one
particularly imagery-intensive original story snippet, "Spyre", that
I'll never be able to reproduce, it having been written after about 30
hours straight without sleep. Oh well...
