Cute/touching story, but you operate under three assumptions that
I feel obliged to protest.

	1) Shampoo is just now realizing that Mousse is in love with her: 
To fail to notice Mousse's love/obsession for 13-odd years would, IMHO,
take a level of cluelessness that surpasses Tatewaki's. (of course the
fact that he's a homocidal madman with no concern for bystanders may be a
turn-off anyway) 

	2) Shampoo is attracted to Mousse enough to have sex with him:
This is tied into the first point, but if 'Poo had any real carnal intrest
in Mousse she would be using him as a love slave on a regular basis.  To
me, all evidence points toward Shampoo regarding Mousse as a
sibling/playmate instead of a prospective lover (I still call my big
sister ugly despite everyone else's disagreement).

	3) Cologne would try to kill Shampoo over this: Make no mistake,
the old woman does not approve of Mousse.  OTOH, I _seriously_ doubt that
Joketsuzoku are forbidden to take lovers weaker than themselves and
believe Cologne genuinely cares about her great-granddaughter's happiness.
(she may be a bit miffed about Shampoo bedding someone without formally
repudating her current husband, but I doubt that it's a killing offence
for females).

	As I said, cute story, but it fails to work for me.
