But really, how are you able to do so much with just some synopses
and descriptions?
Because it is all we usually get when we are asked to write for a series.
Remember, when we write something, it is usually several months to a year
before we even see the first glimmer of the final results. So the
profiles contain the following:
1) Description of the character in every physical aspect.
2) Background of the character.
3) Phsycological profile determining all emotional and mental
characteristics and reactions.
4) Personality conflict reactions.
5) Sexual preferences in every manner.
6) Underlying history of the past generations of that family.
7) Important events that may or may not be used when writing a story.
The synopsis contains:
1) Complete plot details, including all characters used, including
all minor ones.
2) Complete technological or magical details for the genere you are
writing in.
3) Any forshadowing elements.
4) Any plot revelations and items for later.
5) Important psycological turning points and additions to character
profiles.
